Zach Galifianakis proved he's game for just about anything - including heroin.What tops lighting up a joint on live television? Heroin, perhaps.
Zach Galifianakis appeared on "Real Time with Bill Maher" Friday for the first time since toking up on the show last October and "The Hangover Part II" actor was all-in when the host suggested they up the ante on televised drug use.
"I thought tonight we might raise the stakes a little," Maher joked as he pulled out a tray of heroin paraphernalia from beneath his desk.
Clearly game for the gag, Galifianakis wasted no time in removing his blazer, rolling up his sleeve, and plumping his veins.
"Never done this before in my life," Galifianakis told Maher. When asked if he was sure he wanted to go through with it, the actor fired back with a Rapture joke.
"Everything's ending so let's just do it."
After "shooting up," Galifianakis quipped, "Now it's a party," before pretending to pass out on the desk in front of him to cheers and applause from the audience.
The "Hangover" star made waves during an appearance on the show back in October when he lit up an apparent joint in support of Proposition 19 and the legalization of marijuana in California.
While conservative commentator Margaret Hoover, who was also appearing on the show, confirmed at the time that it was the real deal, Maher later told CNN it was a prop and all in good fun.
"If it was a real joint...I would have smoked it," the host said. "Zach's crazy, he's not that crazy."
"The Hangover Part II" hits theaters Thursday.
