STUDIO CITY - Firefighters received an assist from overhead sprinklers to knock down a fire in a wall of a banquet room at the Sportsmen's Lodge in Studio City in 43 minutes tonight. No injuries were reported.
Flames were contained to the banquet room's wall, Cecil Manresa of the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
Someone at the hotel in the 12800 block of Ventura Boulevard, near Coldwater Canyon Avenue, reported the fire at 10:09 p.m. It was knocked down at 10:52 p.m., Manresa said.
