Justin Bieber lookalike Ronan Parke will take to the stage in Saturday's final
Ronan Parke is excited about performing in Saturday's Britain's Got Talent final, but his triumph in the semis has been tainted by unfounded allegations it was a fix.
An anonymous blogger claimed show boss Simon Cowell, 51, talent-spotted Ronan 2 years ago and has groomed the 12-year-old - who's the bookies' favourite - to win.
Simon dismissed the claims as lies on tonight's show and Ronan has also spoken out.
'I've never met Simon in my life. I'd love to, but I never have,' he tells ITV News.
'I've been coached by the same teacher in Norwich that we pay for. No one's paid for my clothes or anything.
'It's really silly that people think that. They're just jealous that people are having a good time.'
Representatives for Simon's entertainment company Syco have issued a statement and his lawyers have contacted the police - which Ronan thinks is 'great'.
'There is no truth in this story whatsoever,' says the company's spokesperson.
'Ronan
first came to Syco/Sony's attention when he entered this year's
competition. Syco/Sony Music will not hesitate to take whatever legal
action is appropriate to prevent further publication of these unfounded
allegations.'
