Scott, 34, had voluntarily checked into an undisclosed treatment center last month citing "health and personal reasons."
UsMagazine.com is reporting that Scott's rep said that the actor had recently "completed a successful treatment program."
The rep also added, "He is looking forward to beginning production next month on 'American Reunion' for Universal Pictures."
TMZ is reporting that the 'Role Models' actor made his first public appearance on Tuesday night. Scott was seen at a Knicks basketball game in New York City.
Scott will be seen next on the big screen in the sports comedy 'Goon' and is also lending his vocal talents to the animated movie 'Ice Age: Continental Drift,' due to hit theaters in 2012.
